That is what I ordered. This boot is both, a full size longer, and much more narrow than a D.My foot had over 1 inch of space to the toe, and could not fit in the narrow boot comfortably. The boot's toe also is reminiscent of Italian shoes, with a long narrow toe. The pictures do not relay that feature at all. The leather is soft. That is the only discerning thing about these boots. For the price, perhaps some noticeable improvement in manufacture, or sole composition would be nice. The boots are as plain as it gets. The set I received were dull, not the nice shiny ones pictured on the ad. The color was very dull. The leather needed a coat of oil, as it was dry and lackluster. They actually look like a pair of boots I once bought South of our border, for $10. Overall, I cannot wear them and would be guessing that a size 8.5 EE would fit my 9.5D foot, therefore I am returning them and going with another brand... The two together look great. The boot has a unique yet formal look. The boot is really well made and has a comfortable fit. I like the rubber / wood soles, vs the standard leather used by my other Italian shoes. They seem to run a half size larger than what you would expect. I normally wear an 8 1/2 but in all the boots by To Boot New York, I buy size 8. They are very very nice boots and worth the price. I have now bought 3 boots by this brand. |
