They are so comfy, and I get comments every time I wear them. They're the perfect shoe to dress up or down; I wear them with jeans most of the time. Just the right amount of arch & heel, and the sole has a great non-slip quality that comes in handy in my rainy Northwest town. I actually saw these on one of the mom's at my granddaughter's swim class (alright, I'm 50, my secret is out)and recognized the shoe as a Dansko. When I got home I looked online and found the best price was here at Amazon (of course!). I placed my order, had it within a couple days and have been wearing them ever since! It took me a day or so to get used to the mary jane-ness of them, because the toe end of the cutaway portion just needed to be softened by wearing them for maybe two days. I never got any blisters from them and after reading the 3 star review about having to have them stretched because the design was wearing on the person's foot, I took a look at mine. I've never felt the design on the inside, so I picked them up and felt on the inside of the shoe where the design is with my hand, but there's nothing, certainly not enough to feel through socks. I will tolerate no level of discomfort in shoes and have only been pleased with these. Had I experienced anything even similar to what the other reviewer mentioned I would have returned them.
