Kryptonite does this well. Very well. They offer all sorts of strengths depending on your threat level of getting stolen. Considering that I would have to leave my bike locked up downtown for hours on end, I'd figure mine was pretty high. So naturally I bought the strongest they had, New York Fahgettaboutit and boy was that beafy. First impressions, hand down it's the strongest and toughest lock. Extremely sturdy but it wasn't the right lock for me. Why ? First. It's shankel is shorter then this one and while that's done intentionally to prevent jacks from being used to pry open your lock, it realistically means that you are really limited to what/where you can lock it up.
